Texas Mess-o-care

April 17, 2008

This letter is a wake up call to Americans. We need to bring back the right to be a parent and to live a life we choose. This whole operation in Texas is just the beginning of what the government intends to do. They keep referring to this group as a “cult”.

First of all, let’s examine some definitions of cult and what it could infer.

1. A particular system of religious worship, esp. with reference to its rites and ceremonies. (Could this be applied to Catholics, Jews, Protestants, Baptists etc. as well as Islamics?)

2. A group or sect bound together by veneration of the same thing, person, ideal, etc. (Wouldn’t this apply to the medical profession, media, rehabilitation programs and gay movement groups?)

3. The object of such devotion. (Possibly drugs, mind control, power and money?)

4. A group having a sacred ideology and a set of rites centering around their sacred symbols. (Immunization and drug control of the masses by the group called the “pharmaceutical industry”. When anything is brought up about the safety or effectiveness of such rites, the government, bought and paid for by this industry, just passes new legislation to protect them!)

These are just a few definitions and examples of cults. Many people are saying that this “cult” in Texas is breaking the law by having men with more than one wife. (Yet, when gays wanted to “break the law” and get married, that was condoned, and when people want to break the law and attack the Olympic torch runners because of China, that is okay too.)

I find it very troubling that in today’s culture, the government finds it necessary to interfere with just a call from an UNVERIFIED INFORMANT YET TO BE FOUND and by this call, removes infant children from their mothers. (These children are going to be scarred from this abrupt invasion into their lives. Moreover, we are going to pay in the future to rehabilitate and medicate the “confiscated children” for the emotional trauma the state of Texas has inflicted upon them.)

I find it troubling too, that the media has already proclaimed this group guilty without substantial proof. (The talk show hosts just run their mouths and do nothing productive when they judge people without the proper evidence; Nancy Grace is by far the most inaccurate.)

It is amazing that we cannot see the folly of our ways. We are told that immunization saves lives. (Yes, it can take some too but we should submit our children to this medical cult and do their bidding because it is for the “good of the herd”.)

Isn’t bringing up a group of children, who are not dependent on the government to take care of them or their parent’s, good for the “herd”? (Yes, you may not like some of the beliefs or lifestyles they’ve utilized but the masses have already agreed that some concessions and even sacrifices of life need to be made for the protection of the “herd”. See above.)

In summary, just think about this. Parenting is personal. We do not have children to give to the government. Some children may end up in bad situations; it is inevitable due to the imperfection of man. That is the cycle of life. Yet we should be allowed to raise our children the way we choose. (Unfit parents will surface without the government using anonymous, unverified and possible prank phone calls to go after a group of people that they dislike.)

The government should fix the problems it has created not create more problems to fix!

Just an opinion, by Mary Jo Boven
